As we begin another new year on the roads, it is pertinent to pause and reflect on the purpose of our wonderful club.

Great people make great clubs and Sandymount Dodder Wheelers is a club for its members, by its members. It is a club for all, a club where everyone is welcome and everyone has a say. It is a club where hard yards on the road are matched by broad smiles and a passion for coffee stops (lots of them).

Most of all, SDW is about fun and friendship and as we get back into training for whatever goal we have on the bike in 2023 – big or small – let’s do it with the spirit of enjoyment, safety and exploration.
